Jayati Rakhit MD. FACC

Dr. Rakhit is an Interventional Cardiologist at St. Vincent Charity hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and Co- Director at Ohio Hospital in Rajarhat, Newtown in Kolkata. She graduated from Calcutta Medical College and did her post-graduation training from Columbia University in New York, Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland, and University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She is a very experienced Cardiologist specializing in interventional Cardiology and has been in practice for more than 25 years. She is highly regarded by her peers and patients.

Kallol Chattopadhay
Kallol Chattopadhay  Bio-Pharma Executive

Kallol Chattopadhay (“Kal Chatto”), M.S.Pharm. is an Adjunct Professor, School of Pharmacy, Chapman University,Irvine, CA and a Bio-Pharma executive with 30 plus years of professional experience in leading international Biotech, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences companies. Kal’s core competencies include:P&L , M&A ,Clinical Research & Medical Education managements. Kal has demonstrated excellent entrepreneurship skills as he co-founded successful CROs namely Ecron Acunova by taking the company to top 3 position amongst nearly 100 CRO’s in India. Kal served Amgen Inc. (1988 – 2005) in several leadership capacities and directly contributed to the paramount success of Amgen!

Kal Chatto has served on boards of leading professional organizations and pharmacy schools. Kal has been invited to speak at numerous Bio-Pharma meetings and symposia such as BIO, APhA, FIP World Congress, IPSF World Congress, EPSA, Bio-Asia, etc. He was selected as one of the top executives to serve the Presidential Round-table, USA Kal Chatto received numerous honors and accolades. In 2005, He was the first recipient of the FIP Distinguished Service Award and the prestigious ACCP Award. In the House of Lords, London, Kal received the “Pravasi Rattan Award-2018”. In 2019 he received the Hind Rattan Award (one of the highest Indian diasporic awards granted NRIs to recognize outstanding services, achievements and contributions for keeping the “Flag of India High).

Kallol Chattopadhyay received his B.Pharm from I.I.T, Banaras Hindu University, India and M.S. in Pharmacy Administration from the Long Island University, New York. He has also completed Executive Management Programs from the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California and the Anderson School of Management, UCLA., Los Angeles, CA.


Kunal Sarkar
Kunal Sarkar FRCS(ED), FRCS (Glasg)

Dr. Kunal Sarkar trained and worked in Cardiac Surgery in the UK ( London, Liverpool , Hull) for more than 10 years. He was the former faculty of Imperial College London. Member European Academy ( European Association of CT Surgeons) and Society of  Thoracic Surgeons USA. Currently he is one of the leading Cardiac Surgeons of India and past President of Indian Association of  Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons (IACTS). Leading exponent of coronary bypass surgery and  complex adult cardiac operations. Currently Senior Vice Chairman and Chief Cardiac Surgeon of Medica Hospitals Pvt Ltd,  Kolkata and Chairman – Kolkata Heart Foundation(KHF) and President elect of Society of  Coronary Surgeons of India. 

Rupali Basu
Dr Rupali Basu (Managing Director & CEO, Woodlands)

Dr Rupali Basu, an expert in the healthcare sector in India, is currently the Managing Director & CEO, Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital Ltd, Kolkata. Dr Basu is a medical graduate from R G Kar Medical College, Kolkata and has post graduate training in Health and Hospital Management from Harvard and Delhi Universities. 

Dr Basu is known for her pioneering work in bringing Quality Systems and Accreditation in Healthcare in India. Her contribution to developing Superspeciality Tertiary Care hospital services in Eastern India, specifically Cancer, Cardiac and Emergency care, is instrumental in bringing back the confidence of people in healthcare in the Region. 

Anjan Gupta
Anjan Gupta MD, FACC, FSCAI

Dr. Gupta is an Interventional Cardiologist at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland Ohio and Director of the Cardiac catheterization Laboratory at UH Portage. He graduated from Calcutta Medical college and did his post-graduation training from Cleveland Clinic Ohio and University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and presented in National Meetings of American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association. He is an Executive Board member at the American heart Association and the Executive Leadership team at Harrington Heart and Vascular Institute in University Hospitals. He has been recognized as “Top Doctor” InMilwaukee and Cleveland Magazine multiple times.

Dr. Turja Chakrabarti MD

Dr. Turja Chakrabarti is a physician and assistant professor at the University of California, San Francisco, in the Department of Internal Medicine. He is also a research investigator at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. He focuses on studying lung cancer to develop novel and innovative therapies. 

Dr. Chakrabarti founded Pratit International, an organization dedicated to bridging global health disparities since 2007. Pratit International provides comprehensive primary medical care to over 2,500 patients living in vulnerable communities in Kolkata and its surroundings. Dr. Chakrabarti aims to expand cancer prevention and screening programs in these communities to ensure early detection, proactive treatment, and even potential cures. He is pleased to collaborate with NABC to advance the cause of cancer care in Bengal and globally.
